The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) Greek Branch and the Hellenic Management Centre (HMC) successfully concluded their participation at Posidonia 2026, held from 1–5 June 2026 at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens.

As the world’s leading international shipping exhibition, Posidonia 2026 attracted more than 40,000 maritime professionals and over 2,200 exhibitors from around the globe, reaffirming its position as the premier meeting point for the international shipping community.

The ICS Greek Branch stand welcomed members, students, shipping professionals, partners and friends of the Institute from Greece and abroad. The event provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with the global ICS network, meet prospective students and promote professional development and maritime education.

A highlight of the week was the ICS Members’ Gathering, held on Wednesday, 3 June, at the Greek Branch stand. Members from International ICS branches came together to network, exchange ideas and strengthen professional relationships. We were especially honoured to welcome Mr. Marc Buchholz, International Vice Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.

We would like to thank all members, colleagues, students and friends who visited our stand and contributed to making Posidonia 2026 one of the most successful participations in the history of the ICS Greek Branch.

We look forward to continuing our mission of promoting professionalism, education and excellence within the maritime industry and to welcoming the global shipping community once again at Posidonia 2028.
