ICS Greek Branch had the pleasure to welcome Real Time Graduate Members on an Online Seminar with the topic “Introduction to Chartering Practices”, on Tuesday 19 May 2020.
The topic was presented by Ms Amalia Miliou Theocharaki, FICS, Chartering Manager of TEO Shipping Corporation, Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and Dry Cargo Chartering lecturer of the HMC/ICS Greek Branch.
Participants had the opportunity to understand basic aspects and functions of Chartering such as the principals involved, the brokers’ role, methods of Employment (voyage, time, demise charters and COAs) and Charterparties.
