ICS Greek Branch Students Visit the Supramax Dry Bulk Vessel “C LION” in Piraeus

On Friday, 31 October, Students of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) Greek Branch had the opportunity to visit the Supramax dry bulk vessel “C LION”, managed by Cyan Blue Shipping Ltd., which is currently undergoing dry dock in Piraeus.

This unique educational visit allowed our students to experience first-hand how a real vessel operates and to connect their knowledge gained from the ICS Professional Maritime Programme with the practical realities of ship’s management and operations.

At the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Greek Branch, we are committed to bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world practice. Through such initiatives, we aim to bring our students closer to the industry, offering them meaningful exposure to the daily operations, challenges, and opportunities that define modern shipping.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. George Bamiotis of Cyan Blue Shipping Ltd. and to the vessel’s Captain and crew for their warm hospitality and for making this visit an insightful and valuable experience for the next generation of shipping professionals.
