ICS Greek Branch Joined Water Marathon 2024

On Saturday, October 12, 2024, Members and students of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Greek Branch took part in the first charity swim event, the Water Marathon, organized by ESTIA Support & Social Care Center for People with Intellectual Disability and OAKA. The proceeds from the event will support Estia’s Day Care Center and Supported Living Residences located in Psychiko, Melissia, Vrilissia, and Pikermi. The Water Marathon aimed to complete the 42 kilometers of a traditional marathon but in the water and allowed each participant to swim as much as they wanted and could.
Participating in the Water Marathon 2024 reflects our commitment to supporting initiatives that promote social solidarity and philanthropy. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all members and students who took part and contributed in their own way to this commendable initiative.
