WFW, HMC and QMUL Join Forces for Shipping Law Seminar in Piraeus

Watson, Farley & Williams, Hellenic Management Centre and Queen Mary University of London joined their forces and organized a Seminar on recent developments of shipping law cases on Thursday, 14th of May 2026 at the Piraeus Marine Club.

The distinguished speakers brought their unique perspective on the recent developments of shipping cases. Natalie Jackson, Partner, Watson Farley & Williams, and Georgia Theakston, Senior Associate, Watson, Farley & Williams, shared their expertise on the chosen cases and, together with renowned academics from Queen Mary University of London, Dr. An􀆟goni Lykotrafiti, Senior Lecturer in Transport, Energy and the Law, Queen Mary University of London and Dr Filip Šaranović, Senior Lecturer in Shipping Law, Queen Mary University of London, engaged in an interactive discussion. The discussion was moderated by Paul Herring, Consultant, Mari􀆟me Arbitrator & member of the LMAA.

The event was hosted by Watson, Farley & Williams  and was well attended by shipping professionals covering all sectors of the industry. Following the formal session, guests enjoyed the opportunity to network and continue conversations in an informal brunch setting.
