ΓΝΩΡΙΣΤΕ ΤΟΥΣ ΚΑΘΗΓΗΤΕΣ ΜΑΣ
Tom Boothby, FICS, is a maritime professional with extensive experience in port services management and ship agency. Currently, he serves as the Agency Manager at Clarksons Port Services in the Humber office, specializing in offshore renewable services and providing significant support across various shipping sectors. With a career spanning over a decade, Tom has held various roles at Clarksons, including Assistant Manager and Agency Operator, and has worked on major projects of national importance, gaining valuable insights and experience from different parts of the UK. He is a Fellow of ICS and actively engaged in tutoring, particularly in Port Agency, contributing to the professional development of future maritime professionals. Tom is a member of the ICS Controlling Council and serves as an exam assessor.
Konstantina Nikolaou is currently working as a Tanker Shipbroker in Gregale Shipping Ltd and has significant experience in Chartering and Operations Depts. Konstantina holds a BSc in Management and Business Administration from Athens University of Economics and Business. She is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and teaches Introduction to Shipping, Shipping Business and Tanker Chartering.
Paraskevas G. Kousounadis is a Chartered Certified Accountant with extensive experience in shipping finance and accounting. He currently serves as Finance Manager at a long-established Greek ship management company. He holds two BSc (Hons) degrees, in Applied Accounting and in Biomedical Sciences.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (FICS), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece, and the Economic Chamber of Greece. In addition, he is a Certified Internal Auditor for ISM–ISPS–MLC systems in Shipping Companies, accredited by DNV-GL. He has previously served on the ACCA Advisory Committee in Greece, actively contributing to the advancement of the accounting profession. Alongside his corporate role, he also acts as a personal financial advisor, supporting individuals and businesses in achieving their financial goals.
Paraskevas has maintained a strong connection with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) throughout his career. Having first joined as a student, he was later recognized as a Prize Winner at the ICS Prize Giving Awards. Since 2019, he has been a Tutor at the HMC/ICS Greek Branch, teaching Introduction to Shipping, Shipping Business, Ship Operations and Management, and Economics of Sea Transport. He has also developed and delivered a dedicated session on examination techniques, guiding students on effective study planning, exam preparation, and professional development through mentorship.
Dr Antigoni Lykotrafiti is a Senior Lecturer in Transport, Energy and the Law at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London, where she teaches and carries out research on air transport law and shipping law. Prior to joining Queen Mary, Antigoni worked for the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on transport policy issues. She has been an assistant professor at Tilburg University (Tilburg Law and Economics Centre), where she taught public international and European law and carried out research on EU innovation law and policy, a Jean Monnet post-doctoral fellow at the European University Institute, where she worked on transatlantic air transport liberalisation issues, a practitioner within the competition division of a leading law firm and a stagiaire at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Mobility and Transport. She has also been a visiting research fellow at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) and a visiting Professor at the University of Bergamo. Dr Lykotrafiti read law at the University of Athens (LLB), European law at the University of Essex (LLM) and air transport law at King’s College London (PhD), writing her thesis on the issue of State aid in air transport. She specialises in European and International law, law and economics, and law and innovation. She is published in peer-reviewed journals, such as Transport Policy, Common Market Law Review, Journal of Competition Law and Economics, Legal Issues of Economic Integration, Air and Space Law, Journal of Air Law and Commerce, European Competition Law Review and European State Aid Law Quarterly.
Efcharis Rocanas is a Senior Claims Executive, at Thomas Miller.
Since joining the Club, in 2013, she has dealt with a number of high profile and complex disputes, in both dry and wet shipping, enjoying an even split of P&I and Defence work.
Efcharis is fluent in English, Greek and French and has a legal background, having obtained a double degree in English Law and French Law. She is also a proud member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Before the UK Club, Efcharis worked in law firms in Greece and the UK, specialising in shipping law.
Katerina has a long working experience in managerial positions in the fields of Shipping, Banking and Finance. She holds the position of Executive Director with Investments & Finance Ltd. The company is a financial consultancy firm dedicated in providing financial and investment banking advisory services to shipping and corporate clients. Katerina’s career in shipping and finance started in 1986 with Athenian Sea Carriers, one of the traditional and prestigious Greek shipping Groups, and continued into Banking as Head of Shipping Finance for two Greek private Banks, responsible for setting up and developing their shipping loan portfolios. She also held the position of Credit Committee member of these banks.
Katerina is a Jury Expert with the European Commission on Blue Economy and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. She is also Governor of The International Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Piraeus, Mentor and Clinical Professor on the MSc in Shipping Management program of the University of Piraeus, Lecturer on Shipping Finance at the Greek Branch of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and DNV Trainer.
Thanasis Koilakos heads the Commercial Department of Coral Shipping Corp. since April 2020. Prior to joining Coral Shipping Corp., Thanasis has gained more than 12 years’ experience on the banking sector, firstly as ship finance account officer in Piraeus Bank S.A. in Piraeus, Greece which he worked from 2007 to 2012 and then various ship finance positions in DVB BANK SE between 2012 and 2020 such as Relationship Manager for loan origination in Athens, Greece , loan restructuring and recovery in Amsterdam, Netherlands and Head of Credit and Transaction in ITF International Transport Finance Suisse AG, a subsidiary of DVB Bank SE based in Zurich, Switzerland. He commenced his career in 2005 in Reuters Middle East as a Client Training Executive in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., covering a wide range of asset classes; however, his main focus had been the Commodities and Energy markets. Thanasis holds a BA in Economics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, U.S.A. and MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick, Coventry, U.K. Thanasis is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers since 2022.
Kostas Theodoropoulos is a highly experienced Financial Portfolio Manager Manager with 17+ years of experience managing financial derivatives and fixed-income portfolios, as well as FFA positions, particularly in the dry bulk sector. He holds the position of Portfolio Manager at a well established shipping company. He has a strong background in quantitative modeling, structured products, and risk management, having held key positions at Eurobank and HSBC.
Kostas holds a Ph.D. in Shipping Derivatives from the University of Piraeus, specializing in financial derivatives for risk management in the shipping industry. He has been designated as a Professional Risk Manager (PRMIA) since 2015.

Η Ναταλία Μαργιώλη, FICS, είναι η Ιδρύτρια και Διευθύνουσα Σύμβουλος του Hellenic Management Centre από το 1999. Έχει πτυχίο στη Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων και MBA. Είναι Fellow Member του Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers και Αντιπρόεδρος του Ελληνικού Παραρτήματος του ICS.
Είναι μέλος του εκτελεστικού και ελεγκτικού συμβουλίου του ICS.
