Το ICS Greek Branch συμμετείχε στην Έκθεση Ποσειδώνια 2024
Το ICS Greek Branch ανακοινώνει με υπερηφάνεια την επιτυχή συμμετοχή του στην Έκθεση Ποσειδώνια 2024, την κορυφαία διεθνή ναυτιλιακή έκθεση στον κόσμο. Που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Athens Metropolitan Expo, από τις 3 έως τις 7 Ιουνίου. Η έκθεση σημείωσε νέο ρεκόρ στον αριθμό των εκθετών και των επισκεπτών και παρείχε μια μοναδική πλατφόρμα για τους επαγγελματίες της ναυτιλίας και τους ενδιαφερόμενους φορείς να ανταλλάξουν γνώσεις, να δικτυωθούν και να συζητήσουν το μέλλον του κλάδου.
Στο πλαίσιο της δέσμευσής μας για την προώθηση της αριστείας στη ναυτιλιακή εκπαίδευση, το ICS Greek Branch παρουσίασε μια σειρά από επαγγελματικά ναυτιλιακά μαθήματα και προγράμματα κατάρτισης. Το περίπτερό μας προσέλκυσε μια ποικιλία επισκεπτών, συμπεριλαμβανομένων νέων φοιτητών, αποφοίτων και επαγγελματιών που αναζητούν συνεχή ανάπτυξη, οι οποίοι ήταν όλοι πρόθυμοι να μάθουν περισσότερα για τις προσφορές μας και τις τελευταίες τάσεις στη ναυτική εκπαίδευση.
Εκτός από τις εκθεσιακές μας δραστηριότητες, είχαμε την τιμή να συμμετέχουμε στις συζητήσεις στρογγυλής τραπέζης στο “YES to Shipping Forum”, αφιερωμένο σε νέα στελέχη και φοιτητές, το οποίο έλαβε χώρα στην αίθουσα συνεδρίων την Παρασκευή 7 Ιουνίου και παρείχε μια ανεκτίμητη ευκαιρία στους νέους φοιτητές να αποκτήσουν γνώσεις από ηγέτες και ειδικούς του κλάδου. Η συμμετοχή μας σε αυτές τις συζητήσεις υπογράμμισε την αφοσίωσή μας να ασχοληθούμε με την επόμενη γενιά επαγγελματιών της ναυτιλίας. Εκφράζουμε την ευγνωμοσύνη μας στους διοργανωτές για τη δημιουργία μιας τόσο επιδραστικής εκδήλωσης.
Επιπλέον, συμμετείχαμε ενεργά στο Τουρνουά Ποδοσφαίρου Posidonia 5×5 ShipSoccer Tournament στις 2 Ιουνίου 2024. Η ομάδα μας συμμετείχε σε αυτό το αθλητικό γεγονός με ενθουσιασμό, αντανακλώντας τη δέσμευσή μας στο ομαδικό πνεύμα και τον υγιή ανταγωνισμό.
Θα θέλαμε να συγχαρούμε τους διοργανωτές της έκθεσης για τις εξαιρετικές προσπάθειές τους να καταστήσουν την εκδήλωση αυτή μια αξιοσημείωτη επιτυχία. Η Posidonia 2024 ήταν ίσως η πιο επιτυχημένη στην ιστορία της, παρουσιάζοντας πρωτοποριακές καινοτομίες και προωθώντας ανεκτίμητες συνδέσεις στην παγκόσμια ναυτιλιακή κοινότητα.
Ανυπομονούμε να συνεχίσουμε τη συμμετοχή μας στην έκθεση POSIDONIA 2026 και να προωθήσουμε την ανάπτυξη των επαγγελματιών της ναυτιλίας παγκοσμίως.

ICS Team to Compete in the 8th Posidonia Shipsoccer Tournament 2024.
We are excited to participate in the Posidonia 5×5 Shipsoccer Tournament on June 2, 2024, the event preceding Posidonia 2024 International Shipping Exhibition. Our soccer team is already engaged in training sessions, demonstrating commitment and team spirit!

ICS Greek Branch participated at the Posidonia Running Event 2022
ICS Greek Branch participated at the Posidonia Running Event on the occasion of the Posidonia Exhibition 2022. The event took place on Sunday 5th of June in Piraeus, highlighting the importance of the Greek shipping capital for the global maritime community.
The streets of Piraeus welcomed more than 1500 international and local running fanatics from the shipping industry to join forces and run for a good cause. Proceeds of the race were again donated to the Municipality of Piraeus and the Public Benefit Municipal Corporation of Piraeus.
Staff and Members of the Greek Branch run at the 5km race and enjoyed the event!
ICS Greek Branch is always present at Posidonia International Exhibition and excited to join in good-cause initiatives.
Posidonia Conference 2022: “Human Resources in the Shipping Industry: Redefining Skills for the future”
The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Greek Branch organized a conference session “Human Resources in the Shipping Industry: Redefining Skills for the future”, in the frame of Posidonia 2022.
On Tuesday, 7th of June, distinguished executives of the shipping industry shared their insights into the future of shipping and evolve on the changes in the talent needed by shipping companies. Many young students, graduates and junior professionals who sought to learn more for the roles and skills of tomorrow attended the Conference. All speakers highlighted the importance of the shipping industry for the Greek economy and for the creation of many new jobs and career opportunities to thousands of young people.
The session focused on the trending topic of soft skills for maritime professionals, especially in the era of digitalization and sustainable development. Such skills and competences can make a candidate distinguish among professionals and can become the critical factor for finding a job in the shipping industry.
ICS Greek branch acknowledged the support of Greek shipping companies for the continuous education of its workforce and emphasized the role of the ICS Professional Maritime Programme in enhancing the professional identity of young candidates and integrating them into the shipping community.

At the Posidonia Exhibition 2016, 28 teams of shipping executives, organized into 4 groups, engaged in spirited competition for the coveted Posidonia Shipsoccer trophies in a 5×5 format.
The ICS Greek Branch soccer team proudly participated in the highly anticipated five-a-side Posidonia Shipsoccer Tournament, while several of our students and staff members took part in the Posidonia Running Event. Congratulations to all involved for your dedication and enthusiasm!
