We were thrilled to participate in the 8th SNAME Young Professionals Panel, “Creating Your Own Path,” on April 18th at V.Ships, Piraeus. The event was exceptionally engaging, filled with thought-provoking panel discussions with leading experts, including Rea Georgiadi, Director/Partner – Average Adjuster, G&B Adjusting Ltd, an ICS Greek Branch alumnus, and Dr. Konstantinos Galanis, Director for Technical, Operations & Sustainability, Dido Shipping Co SA & Chairman of the International Ship Recyclers Association and ICS Tutor. Among the distinguished panelists were Evangelos Angoulas, Senior Manager, Bain & Company, Maria Kampasi, Machinery Surveyor at Bureau Veritas, each bringing unique insights and perspectives to the discussions. The Panel discussion was moderated by Theodoros Kardaras, Co-Chair of SNAME YP Committee.

Natalia Margioli, Managing Director of HMC/ICS Greek Branch, addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of enhancing practical knowledge for success in commercial shipping and encouraging young graduates to become Members of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.

The ICS Greek Branch is committed to supporting professional growth and will be offering SNAME Members 1 full scholarship for the next academic year for the ICS Professional Maritime Programme!
