ABOUT THE SEMINAR
If you can speak the language of finance, you have the power to build stronger strategies, expand your professional influence and make better business decisions. In today’s business environment, there is an ongoing need for effective communication between financial and non-financial shipping professionals. Managers in all functional areas of business require a practical working knowledge of accounting and financial concepts in order to make critical operational and strategic decisions. Upon completion of this course, participants will be expected to enhance their level of financial awareness and be able to understand and use financial information in managing their departments and/or businesses efficiently.
Directors, Managers, Entrepreneurs or anyone who uses financial information in their work, as well as financial professionals who seek to update their core skills in a broad context. As the syllabus does not focus on technical aspects, prior knowledge of accounting and/or finance is not required.
