The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) was proudly represented at ShipCon 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark, through the participation of Natalia Margioli, FICS, Vice President of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosted by YoungShip Denmark, ShipCon has established itself as one of the leading international events dedicated to young shipping professionals, bringing together industry leaders, executives, entrepreneurs and future maritime professionals from across the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the conference programme, Natalia Margioli delivered a keynote address focusing on the importance of investing in the next generation of shipping professionals, highlighting the critical role of leadership, communication, networking and continuous professional development in shaping successful careers within the maritime industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participation of ICS at ShipCon 2026 marks another important milestone in the growing cooperation between the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and the YoungShip network. During the event, discussions took place regarding future areas of collaboration between ICS and YoungShip, including educational initiatives, professional development programmes, industry events and activities aimed at supporting the next generation of maritime leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on her participation, Natalia Margioli stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The future of shipping depends on our ability to support, educate and inspire the next generation, and organisations such as YoungShip play a vital role in achieving this objective.
