{"id":706,"date":"2019-03-12T08:27:16","date_gmt":"2019-03-12T06:27:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/helmc.com\/interested-in-undertaking-an-llm-in-shipping-law-come-to-find-out-more-at-our-open-day-on-wednesday-8-may-2019\/"},"modified":"2024-04-10T14:00:22","modified_gmt":"2024-04-10T11:00:22","slug":"interested-in-undertaking-an-llm-in-shipping-law-come-to-find-out-more-at-our-open-day-on-wednesday-8-may-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helmc.com\/el\/interested-in-undertaking-an-llm-in-shipping-law-come-to-find-out-more-at-our-open-day-on-wednesday-8-may-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"ICS takes HAEF on a visit on-board SS Liberty Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hellenic Management Centre and ICS Greek Branch had the pleasure to organize a visit <strong>on- board SS Liberty Museum<\/strong> for the high school students of HAEF, on <strong>Thursday 7 March 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A welcome address was given by <strong>Mrs Natalia Margioli<\/strong>, Managing Director of HMC \/ ICS Greek Branch and then <strong>Cpt Evangelos Kouzilos<\/strong>, the museum\u2019s manager, made a presentation on the history of Hellas Liberty ships, explaining how Liberty Ships were donated by America to Greece as a sign of recognition for their contribution during World War II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, the students had the opportunity to attend a 1-hour session within the museum on the topic <strong>\u201cWhy Shipping Matters?\u201d<\/strong> delivered by <strong>Mr Simon Ward,<\/strong> Managing Director of Ursa Shipbrokers and a Fellow Member and lecturer of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
